This hotel was a fantastic deal for the money we paid. The location is great, 200m from the ski lift yet apart from the noisy night bars. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfy, very warm inside, heating is more than enough to dry out clothes after skiing. Nice bar and a chillout room with sofas and pool table. We did not eat in the hotel's restaurant, so no comments on the food but the menu changed every other day, seemed alright. It's all good and highly recommended to stay.
Not much bad to be said. Smoking people in the bar bothered us, but it's allowed in the country, so it's like that in every bar and restaurant. Breakfast was a little average for everyday stay but still ok. Stuff could improve their english, but it was enough to get around, and they were very friendly all the time.
The hotel was very good value for money. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but excellent accommodation within this price bracket. The breakfast was very generous with a good variety of foods and we enjoyed a tasty evening meal on a couple of occasions.
Convenient location, helpful, English speaking staff. Good variety of food both for breakfast and dinner at half board, no culinary extavaganza, but tasty dishes for dinner with buffet starter and a selection from 3 main courses. Free parking places in front of hotel. No issues with having our dog with us in the room. Free wifi with reception also in higher floor, not in the rooms, though. Hotel had 5% discount for ski passes.
Cleaning in the rooms could be more thorough. Furniture is rather simple, beds were a bit uncomfortable.
Wi-fi availabel only in lobby. I would like to have it in rooms as well.
We had stayed here before on a package so knew what to expect, (very) warm, clean, & fairly comfortable with cosey but adequate room size (we were in a triple) so the deciding factor was the good price. Heard mixed reviews about food here but cant really comment as we stayed B&B. Breakfast being continental buffet type which we dont mind. Fairly well situated about 150 - 200m up hill from main uplift & bars etc. with own parking. Staff were helpful & most could speak good English especially on the reception desk, helping us book ski passes & a Caldea / shopping trip by car with good knowldge of Andorra La Vella & where to park there (sat nav recommended!!) All in all pretty good, would stay here again at the right price.
Nice view of a large hotel concrete substructure of which construction seems to of ground to a halt (for at least the last 8 yrs to my knowledge) if you get a rear facing room. But you can hardly blame the Xalet Verdu for this.
Great value clean comfortable hotel. Friendly staff good, good food, good location. Have been back there three times and looking forward to next year!
The location was fantastic and overall very good value for money.
The good location, excellent food, kind staff
Stuff are always pleased to help variety and quality of food
I like almost everything. Nearest hotel "Princess" has one star more (****) bur our hotel*** I like better.
Friendly staff and good location
Food did not match the rest of the services on offer
Excellent. Good value, very nice room, friendly, helpfull staff.
too small room, no shampoo or bath gel, breakfast was the same for everyday
The hotel was uncomfortably hot, and the "hot" items at breakfast were almost cold. After the second morning I had to eat breakfast elsewhere.
The front desk was very helpful in a variaty of ways from arranging taxi service to route planning to electrical adapters.
